“Around 2008 i started looking into how to grow pot. finding good information back then was sparse--i remember downloading any pdfs/scans i could find. eventually found the forums and just continued to read and absorb as much as possible. my first grow ended up coming by surprise though. i had just moved in with a buddy i had a bunch of classes with. at that point we were friends but not real close. one night we're chatting and land on the topic of cannabis... he mentions he smokes, i mention i've been dying to grow, he just kinda looks at me with a grin... there was a small detached garage at our place that we used mainly as a carport. around back was a small room. we go in and dude had about 10 plants going. i was thru the roof. was a total full-circle moment. wasn't the best bud by any means, we were growing with CFLs for a while but it set off a spark in me. we ended up growing for about 5 years until life got in the way.


around 2020 i jumped back in. things had changed a lot. mainly access to clones. seemed like a lot of the unobtainable cuts were now within grasp. so i started collecting. since then i've ran hundreds of 'elite' cuts. would say i've got a decent idea of what qualifies as a good plant. i kind of stumbled into making seed. always been a big fan of mashing two killer strains together. i really enjoy crossing the old heavy-hitting cuts with newer modern cuts that yield well and make pretty bud.


my first few reversal attempts were total fails. but eventually the stars aligned and i managed to get a successful batch of seeds. the response has been beyond anything i was expecting. hearing and seeing results from growers all over the country has been crazy fun and rewarding and drives me to keep making more crosses.” - Badd News
